Lisette is the owner and founder of Animated Closet, an independent clothing line that retails and manufactures it's own private label with an emphasis on individuality and creativity.

Lisette’s career in the fashion industry began while on a backpacking trip throughout Southeast Asia. She flew there with three thousand dollars in her pocket and big plans for the world of fashion and design. Her money quickly dwindled but her aspirations grew, especially after being introduced to the textile printers and anime artists in Bangkok. In fact, she was so inspired that she now resides there part-time.

Lisette's creative process is collaborative. She works with multiple artists to create her prints and only then cuts the designs from each batch of newly printed material. Each batch is limited and in order to reduce as much waste as possible, the leftover fabric remnants are used as patches in her other designs.

Animated Closet's figure-flattering, boldly patterned designs are now found in over 40 boutiques across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and Great Britain.
